Pictures on your wall

So I guess Funkykidz decided to update their website and fill it with the pictures they took of us instructors during the kick-off in August... Can't say it's the most charming photo of moi, but hey I look happy and that's all that the kids who will see this care about :) So that's all that matters.

Other than that, my life is slowly falling into some sort of habit where I live in this apartment, visit my parents once or twice a week for dinner, work 2-3 days a week at ICA, spend my Sundays dancing with little kids and try to catch a glimpse of every moment I get to spend with Trevor. Also trying to fit my dear friends into the equation, which equals strangely little time to do nothing. One might think that me taking a year off before college, taking a year to work and figure out what I want to study and where the path of career will lead me... one might think that I have whole days to do nothing at all. You couldn't be more wrong. I have filled my days with things that I want to do, and also I have gone from interviews to auditions to work to birthday celebrations to dance practise to girls night to doing dishes to just taking the time to breath and write blog posts like this. My life is as full and lively as ever, and I hope have enough time to make the big decisions I am working on for next year. Time will tell.

A whole new world

Let's Get Rich

Exciting and new, I had a job interview today! Contacted Explorius the other day, the organisation that I went to Utah, US with a few years ago for my awesome exchange year at Hurricane High School, and the wanted to meet me and talk. So I went to their office today and met with Lina who I remember from back when I was nervous and getting ready for the adventure of a lifetime. It was so nice to catch up and reconnect with all that excitement and anticipation.

So what I'm hoping is that I end up with another part time job, and one that sure seems fun and inspiring to me. As a representative of Explorius it is one's job to spread the word, so to speak. With everything from spreading information on paper to facebook to interviewing future exchange students! I am so thrilled and I figured I might as well start out right away. I do after all keep a blog in English where I (if you go back a few years among the posts) wrote all about my experiences during MY exchange year, and even though every exchange year is unique, I might as well spread the information here as anywhere else.

Check out the website. If as little as one person clicks this link and finds information they are interested in, this post was not for nothing. All I can say is that my judgement is only clouded by how insanely awesome my exchange year was and how badly I want the same for everyone I know.

I know right? The pic could be from a catalogue for exchange students. One of the best days of my life.

And Soso (i know you're one of the few people who actually always reads my blog and I love you for it) these songs are growing on me and I can only say "Thank you all-mighty, all-knowing Soso" ;)

You show the lights

So, I ended up actually making my own lemon flavored New York Cheesecake! It turned out great :D Above is the result ;)

I had some with my wonderful girl friends Pauline and Louise, as we had girls night together Friday. Then shared a bite with Trevor and later on my mom, sister and aunt came by to try it too! I'm saving this one in my book of yummy stuff to bake, for sure!

Good old Graduation....

Death by Cheesecake

Went on a sweet date with my love yesterday, and ended up on T.G.I. Friday's. Never actually eaten there before so it was a nice surprise to find that their menu is very close to the american restaurant "Chili's"...! Nice to know. Ended the dinner with a massive slice of New York Cheesecake that was yum-yummy :D

I'm totally going to learn to make this type of cheesecake now!
